The nature and disorders of human communication, including speech, language, and hearing processes will be introduced. Students will also gain basic knowledge of common communication disorders, including speech sound disorders, language disorders in children and adults, neurogenic disorders, voice disorders, fluency disorders, and disabilities related to hearing impairment across the life span.
