8/13-9/24/15 NURS4325 Nursing Leadership and Management [5]. This course prepares nurses to utilize leadership and advanced communication skills in dealing with personnel, fiscal, patient, cultural, and policy situations in health care. Organizational behavior and leadership theories, leadership styles, and best available evidence are incorporated in the design, implementation, and evaluation of a project. The project includes leadership of an interdisciplinary health care team. Prerequisites: NURS3343 and enrollment in the degree completion nursing program. This course must be taken the final semester of the program.
