A study of basic principles of pharmacologic therapy. Special emphasis is given to integrating concepts from biology, chemistry, human anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology to plan safely for pharmacological needs of clients. Basic principles of pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics, genetic and bio-ethical concerns related to medication administration are included.
