College Writing with Laboratory is a study of the process of writing, from grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and mechanics, to sentence structure, paragraph development, and writing appropriately for context. Students will develop critical writing, reading, and thinking skills. Attention will be given to research methods, argumentation, analysis, and documentation. The course includes designated "laboratory" time that will require the student to meet for conferences with the professor and to utilize the MVNU Writing Center. The course is required in the first semester of enrollment for students who score 18 or below on the ACT English sub-test. 08/31/2015-12/10/2015 Lecture Tuesday, Thursday 01:20PM - 02:50PM, Room to be Announced
