ENG1063, Introduction to Literature, is described within the Online Catalog as being the "study of literary genres through representative readings. Prerequisite: ENG1053G." This class will meet daily for the first week Monday 24 up to Thursday, May 27 and then online to discuss the nature of literature using as raw material the readings listed below as well as from a series of handouts picked up at the book store and online texts. Discussions will center on some of the common themes that have haunted the human mind and heart throughout western history.
